The BMB Alkaline & Detox Replacement Filters Set are the post filters used on the BMB-10, BMB-20 Alkaline & Detox Upgrade versions.

The filters help balance your body’s pH and mineral levels with 100% natural alkaline mineral stones and detox technology. 

This replacement pack consists of two filters. The Alkaline filter is composed of a blend of alkalising minerals such as Calcium, Magnesium, Sodium, Potassium and adds natural anion and cation minerals to your water and increases it to pH level of 7.0 – 8.5 (NB This can vary depending on other incoming water factors such as temperature, carbon dioxide levels and so on).

The Detox filter facilitates the release of toxins from the body while accumulating water to maximize cellular absorption by reducing the molecular structure.

Detox Filter (Anti-Toxin):

The detox filter is composed of active ceramic taormine balls which form a 2 micrometer wavelength electro-magnetic field (far infrared-red ray – FIR) along the water passageway. Water molecules also have a natural oscillation frequency of 2 micrometers. As the water passes through the filter, the FIR field will help in breaking up the water molecules (which are usually clumped together) into smaller pieces. This will help in maintaining a healthy body metabolism rate.

Alkaline Filter (Higher pH):

The alkaline filter uses 100% naturally occurring minerals like magnesium, sodium and potassium to increase the water pH to an alkaline level. The minerals will mix into the water as healthy cations and anions. The specially selected minerals can increase the water pH levels to 7.3 – 8.0 depending on feed water conditions.

While the ideal pH level of drinking water should be between 6-8.5, the human body maintains pH equilibrium on a constant basis and will not be affected by water consumption. For example, our stomachs have a naturally low pH level of 2 which is a beneficial acidity that helps us with food digestion.Resultant pH levels vary according to the level of Carbon Dioxide and other acids in the feed water.

The post filters can not guarantee pH values for any period of time. The purpose of the alkaline filter is to add a level of ionizing minerals (to increase TDS levels) to replace to those lost in filtration and to micro cluster the water to increase cell hydration.

If maintaining a high alkaline pH level is of high importance, it is suggested to make frequent pH tests of the purified water which may result more frequent changes of the alkaline filter. Please note there is a difference between the pH measure and the alkalinity of water.
